Bhubaneswar: Another 518 persons in Odisha tested positive for COVID-19 in last 24 hours taking the state’s total caseload to 3,18,307.
Of the total fresh cases detected from 27 districts, 297 have been reported from different quarantine centres while remaining 221 are local contact cases. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department today.
Sundargarh district recorded highest 52 fresh cases followed by Mayurbhanj district (49) and Cuttack district (45).
Currently, the number of total active cases in the state stands at 5,971 and recovered cases at 3,10,549.
