Odisha adds 550 more COVID-19 infections

Bhubaneswar: Another 550 persons in Odisha tested positive for COVID-19 in last 24 hours taking the state’s total caseload to 3,17,789.

Of the total fresh cases detected from all 28 districts, 317 have been reported from different quarantine centres while remaining 233 are local contact cases. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department today.

Angul recorded highest 53 fresh cases followed by Khordha (49) and Sundargarh (47).

Currently, the number of total active cases in the state stands at 6,259 and recovered cases at 3,09,747.
