Odisha adds 609 new COVID-19 cases including 122 children: TPR 0.93%

Bhubaneswar: As many as 609 persons including 122 children below 18 years of age tested positive for COVID-19 in Odisha during the last 24 hours while a total of 65268 samples were tested in the state, yesterday. The Test Positivity Rate (TPR) for the day stood at 0.93%.

Khurda district reported highest 188 fresh infections, followed by Cuttack (113), Balasore (31) and Jajpur (31).

With this, the COVID-19 tally in the state reached 1012167 with 6996 active cases.

The Health Department also reported eight more deaths due to COVID-19 as the toll mounted to 8055.
