Odisha: Ambulance carrying body overturns; 3 of family hospitalised   

Bhadrak: An ambulance carrying a body with three family members of the deceased turned turtle on NH-16 at Kushagadia near Bhandaripokhari in Bhadrak district today.

A major mishap was averted as the three attendants escaped with injuries in the mishap.

Sources said one Parameswar Mishra of Gobindapur village under Dhamnagar block died of cardiac arrest while undergoing treatment at SCB Medical College and Hopsital in Cuttack. A private ambulance carrying the body was returning to Gobindapur village when it lost control and overturned near Kushagadia.

In  the road mishap, wife, son and daughter of the deceased, who were also in the ambulance, suffered grievous injuries. They were later rushed to the district headquarters hospital  (DHH) for treatment.
