In a shocking incident, an anganwadi helper was burnt alive last night in Bhadrak district of Odisha while she was asleep in her room.

The deceased has been identified as Pabitra Biswal (52) of Talasahi village under Dhusuri police limits in the district.

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
