Odisha: Another ruling party MLA tests positive for COVID-19

Bhubaneswar: Another ruling party legislator in Odisha tested positive for deadly COVID-19. In a social media post, BJD MLA from Basudevpur Assembly constituency Bishnubrata Routray stated his samples have tested positive for COVID-19 today.

Routray requested those who came in contact with him in last few days to take precautions and get themselves tested, if required.

Besides, many MLAs in the State have been diagnosed with the disease. They included Bhubaneswar (North) legislator Susant Rout, Bhubaneswar (Central) MLA Ananta Narayan Jena, Berhampur MLA Bikram Panda, Chandbali MLA Byomakesh Ray, Baramba MLA Debi Prasad Mishra, Pottangi MLA Pritam Padhi, Bhadrak MLA Sanjib Mallick, Khandapada MLA and Editor of ‘Sambad’ Soumya Ranjan Patnaik, Bari MLA Sunanda Das, Polasara MLA Srikant Sahu, Remuna MLA Sudhanshu Shekhar Parida and Salepur MLA Prasant Behera.
