Odisha appoints new collectors in 3 cyclone-hit dists

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government today appointed new collectors in three districts which were affected by cyclonic storm FANI.

While Balwant Singh was given the charge of Puri, Bhupinder Punia was appointed as the Collector of Khordha.

Similarly, Premchand Chaudhury is the new Collector of Kendrapara.

Cyclonic Storm FANI left a trail of destruction in Puri and parts of Khordha districts in Odisha by disrupting power & telecommunication services, damaging infrastructure and uprooting a huge number of trees.
