Odisha approves rural projects at Rs 19 crore

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today approved 761 projects at expenditure of Rs 19.92 crore for 85 panchayats under Ama Gaon Ama Vikas programme.

The proposed projects were approved for total four blocks — Boipariguda block in Koraput district, Digapahandi in Ganjam district, Sinapali in the Nuapada district and Nabarangpur block in Nabarangpur district.

While the government approved 209 Ama Gaon Ama Vikas projects at expenditure of Rs 3.67 crore for 20 panchayats under Boipariguda block, 154 projects were cleared at Rs 6.25 crore for 25 panchayats under Digapahandi block, 274 projects at Rs 6.75 crore for 27 panchayats under Sinapali block and 124 projects at Rs 3.25 crore for 13 panchayats under Nabarangpur block.

Attending Ama Gaon Ama Vikas programme, Patnaik also suggested the officials and panchayats representatives for early completion of the projects.
