Proceedings in the Odisha Assembly was stalled again today as the members from both the treasury and the opposition benches carried on with their protests on different issues forcing the Speaker to adjourn the House till 11.30 AM.

As soon as the House assembled for the day for the Question-Hour session, the BJP members, holding banners and raising slogans for a discussion on the chit fund scam, barged towards the Speaker’s podium trying to prevent him from taking his seat.

The ruling party members also rushed to the Speaker’s podium and raised slogans leading to noisy scenes.

The Congress members stood up from their seats and protested in silence with black cloth bands on their mouths.

Unable the run the House, the Speaker adjourned the House till 11.30 AM.
