Odisha Assembly Monsoon Session from July 2

Bhubaneswar: The Monsoon Session of Odisha Legislative Assembly will commence from July 2, a notification stated today.

According to an official notification issued by the State Legislative Assembly, the 10th session of 16th Assembly will start on July 2 (Saturday) and will continue till August 4.

The full-budget for the year 2022-23 will be presented on the first day of the Monsoon session i.e. July 2.

As per the notification, there will be 24 business days during the Monsoon session this year. While the discussion on budget will be held on July 5 and 6, the reports of departmentally related standing committees will be presented on July 13.

The Appropriation Bill will be introduced on July 30 in Assembly after discussions on budget proposals for the year 2022-23 and voting on Demand for Grants.

There will be 10 ‘No Meeting Days’ on July 3 (Sunday), from July 7 (Thursday) to July 12 (Tuesday), July 17 (Sunday), July 24 (Sunday) and July 31 (Sunday).
