Odisha Assembly to commence from Feb 18; Budget on Feb 22

Bhubaneswar: The budget session of Odisha Legislative Assembly is scheduled to begin from February 18 and the State Budget for the fiscal 2021-22 will be presented in the House on February 22.

As per the notification, the sixth session of 16th Assembly will have a total 31 business days. The session will continue till April 9, 2021.

The house will commence with Governor Ganeshi Lal’s address on February 18. The annual budget will be tabled on February 22 after discussions on Governor’s address for two days on February 19 and 20.

The bills and resolutions will be presented on February 24, April 5, April 7 and April 9. The general discussions on the budget will take place in the House for three days starting from February 25 to 27.

The Appropriation Bill on the Budget for the year 2021-22 will be presented on March 31.
