Odisha Assembly to get makeover soon

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Legislative Assembly will get a makeover soon with paperless work and complete WiFi on its premises, informed Speaker Surjya Narayan Patro here today.

A meeting was convened at Assembly to discuss the makeover proposal with officials of Works, Finance and IT departments of Odisha government.

“A construction committee headed by Works Secretary has been constituted. The panel members with approval from Finance Department will visit various state assemblies and prepare a blueprint for making big changes,” said Patro.

“Odisha Assembly will be a model in the country. Initiative will be taken to make it paperless and its campus WiFi,” he added.
