Odisha bags ‘Best Marine State’ award

Bhubaneswar: The Union Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying has adjudged Odisha as the ‘Best Marine State’.

An award comprising Rs 10 lakh will be presented to the state government during celebration of World Fisheries Day on November 21.

This apart, Kalahandi district has won the ‘Best Inland District’ award which comprises Rs 3 lakh.
