Odisha bags first Roll Ball medal in U-17 category

Guwahati: Odisha boys and girls once again bought laurels for the State as they bagged medals for the 1st Time in Under 17 Category in the National East Zone Roll Ball Championship concluded yesterday at Rudra Singh Roll Ball Stadium, here

Odisha Under 17 Boys & Girls Team became the 1st Runners-up and brought Silver Medals for the State.

In the knock out league matches, both boys and girls team played exceptionally well through out the tournament and qualified for the finals with scores as follows:

Odisha’s Goal keeper- Kamal Krishna was awarded- “Best Goal Keeper of the Championship” and Odisha’s attacker player- Pritish Aryan Jena scored the maximum number of 24 goals in the tournament and was awarded- ” The Best Player of the Championship”, Odisha Roll Ball Association Secretary Partha Sarathi Jena said.
