Odisha: Bandh intensifies demand of district status for Bonai

Bonai: The Bonai Kriyanusthan Committee is today observing a 12-hour bandh in four blocks of Odisha’s Sundargarh demanding district status for the Bonai sub-division.

Shops and business establishments remained closed in view of the bandh while vehicular movement was affected as members of the committee resorted to road blockade at various places.

Several political parties and organisations have extended their support to the bandh observance, which will conclude at 6 PM.
