Odisha-based institute bags ‘Best Innovative Law School’ award

Bhubaneswar: KIIT Law School has been awarded ‘best Innovative Law School’ in India 2018 being introduced almost one third of the curriculum on skill development.

On the occasion of Law Teacher’s Day today, Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu presented this award to KIIT Law School in a special function organised by Society of Indian Law Farms and Menon Institute of Legal Advocacy Training. Prof. N. K. Chakraborty, Director, KIIT School of Law received the award from the Vice President. Every year the Society of Indian Law Farms and Menon Institute of Legal Advocacy jointly give this award to best Law institutions of the country. KIIT Law School is the only private Law institution in India to get such prestigious award. On this occasion, Naidu said about his experience during his visit to KIIT Deemed University and conveyed his good wishes to KIIT Law School for this award.

The curriculum of KIIT Law School includes internationalisation of law in domestic legislation. KIIT Law School is the first law school in providing balancing knowledge, skills and values in legal education.

Earlier in 2013 and 2017, KIIT Law School students proved their excellence by getting best prizes in various National Moot Court Competitions organized by Bar Council of India (BCI). Congratulating KIIT Law School, Prof. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS said, this success will continue to inspire the students and faculties of KIIT Law School.
