Bhubaneswar: A 38-year-old woman COVID-19 patient of Bhubaneswar died while undergoing treatment, official sources said today.

However, COVID-19 was not the reason behind her death. The cause of death was septic shock with multi-organ failure, sources said.

She was undergoing treatment for psoriasis and was on immunosuppressant drugs. The woman breathed her last during treatment at a COVID hospital, sources added.

Worth mentioning, this is the third such instance in the state where a COVID-19 patient died of other health issues.
