Odisha: BJD’s organisational polls to be held in five phases from Dec 27

Bhubaneswar: Organisational polls of Odisha’s ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) will be held in five phases between December 27 and February 26 across 33 organisational districts, party sources said today.

The first phase will be held between December 27 and January 13, second phase between January 14 and 29, third phase between January 30 and February 15, fourth phase between February 16 and 18, and fifth phase between February 23 and 26.

BJD’s state returning officer Pratap Keshari Deb said district returning officers have already been appointed and they were trained for smooth conduct of the organizational poll process. Assistant returning officers have also been appointed at the block level, he said.
