Odisha BJP Krushak Morcha stages protest for compensation to farmers

Odisha BJP Krushak Morcha today staged protests demanding compensation to farmers and setting up cold storages across the state.

The members of BJP's farmer wing spilled milk on the road and threw vegetables at PMG square to protest against the government over distress sale of vegetables.

They demanded Rs 5 lakh compensation for the family of famers, who have committed suicide due to crop loss.

The protesters also demanded for the Minimum Support Price (MSP) to the farmers.
