Odisha BJP leader’s mother found hanging inside house

Sundargarh: Odisha BJP leader Tankadhar Tripathy’s elderly widowed mother was found hanging inside her house in Sankara Reserve area of Sundargarh town, last evening.

According to reports, deceased Kumuduni Tripathy (72) was staying alone in the house while her son Tankadhar resides in Bhubaneswar with his wife.

On being informed about the death, police reached the spot, recovered the body for post-mortem, and initiated an investigation. An unnatural death case has been registered in this connection.

The reason behind her death was yet to be ascertained.
