Former minister and senior BJP leader Samir Dey dubbed Sahu’s charges against him and the party leadership made in statements to the media as the rumblings of a mad man. He said he had complete faith in the party leadership and the action taken by it against Sahu for his anti-party activities while demanding the latter’s expulsion from the party. “The party knows what I am and whatever Sahu says after his suspension makes no sense,” said Dey.

Another former minister and senior BJP leader Manmohan Samal, who was called corrupt by Sahu, said; “ Sahu was twice nominated as party candidate to contest elections. He should have declined to contest if he believed the state leadership is corrupt and there is no transparency in the party. Making allegations after being suspended from the party make no sense.”

Jaynarayan Mishra, another former minister in the BJD-BJP coalition government, told the media that there were no allegations of corruption against him and there was nothing new in a suspended man making allegations others in the party. Mishra was reacting to Sahu calling him corrupt.

Sahu had today called several leaders, including the state party president K V Singhdeo, corrupt after being suspended from the party. He had both tweeted as well as made statements against the party leadership for the party losing the Kandhamal bypoll.

BJP need to understand, Why MODI has no acceptability in Odisha, WB and TN. They need to accept, People have voted MODI as an alternative to Congress’s Huge corruption in the absence of strong leadership of several Federal states. In the case of Odisha, Naveen Pattnaik has more popularity than MODI. This is being further strengthened, when people are finding MODI even not preferred to make any arial survey in Southern Odisha devastated by Cyclone HUDHUD. Matter of concern is MODI is yet to announce any relief package for these affected people. Are these area part of India, who need to accept MODI as their PM.

After Kharabela Swain, BJP lost another Jewel. It is sad to see there is no opposition Party in Odisha…..
