Odisha BJP protests 5T Secy Pandian’s visit to Jharsuguda

Jharsuguda: BJP workers today hit the streets in Jharsuguda town strongly opposing 5T Secretary VK Pandian’s visit to the district.

Holding a banner condemning Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and 5T Secretary Pandian, the BJP protestors shouted slogans ‘VK Pandian Go Back’ during a protest rally at Brajrajnagar.

They also showed black flags during the protest opposing Pandian’s Jharsuguda visit.

Yesterday, Pandian was strongly opposed during his visit to Puri district. He along with Puri Collector Samarth Verma was attacked with ink while attending an event at Utkalmani Gopabandhu Smruti Mahavidyalaya in Satyabadi area.

Police detained one youth identified as Bhaskar Sahu involved in the act. Later, the police released the accused after he signed an undertaking not to repeat such an act in the future.
