Odisha BJP to begin Vijay Sankalp Abhiyan from March 10

Bhubaneswar: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will embark on Vijay Sankalp Abhiyan across the State from March 10 to March 17, informed party State General Secretary Prithviraj Harichandan here today.

Addressing a presser, Harichandan said the party will organise 5,000 meetings at several places across the State to sensitise the public about two main agendas of the Sankalp Abhiyan. Firstly, the party will vow to make Narendra Modi as the next Prime Minister in 2019 elections. Secondly, the party will approach the people of Odisha to dethrone the ‘corrupt’ BJD Government through this rally.

“The corrupt BJD Government is ruling the State for the last 19 years. Now it’s enough. It is time to dethrone the Government and bring a change in the State leadership,” said Harichandan.

He further said that as far as double-engine Government is concerned, actual development of Odisha will only be possible if BJP comes to power both in Odisha as well as at the Centre.

“People of Odisha will get full benefits of central schemes only if BJP is voted to power both in Odisha and at the Centre. We will reach out to 4.5 crore of people in the State to sensitise them about this during the eight-day long campaign,” he added.
