Bhubaneswar, May 11:

Odisha-born singer Siddhant Mishra’s new solo ‘Zindagi Mujhe Pukare’ has become an online rage barely 24 hours after it was uploaded to YouTube.

The Cuttack lad has lent his voice and also composed the song in Hindi. The music video has got overwhelming response within hours of its release and surpassed 89, 000 views by the time of filing this report.

The song portrays how a musician moves out of the comforts of a cushy job to pursue his passion. Coincidentally, it almost narrates the story of album’s lead actor Amrit Chatterjee – also from Odisha.

Amrit – a mechanical engineer – left his job to follow his dreams to become an actor. He enrolled in Whistling Woods International Institute, Mumbai to provide sound grounding to his passion. This is his third project while continuing his course at the premier institute.

Worth mentioning, few more Odias are also involved in the making of the melodious track. While the song has been written and directed by Saurav Dash, Siddhant Mishra and Sangeet Patnaik have given music of the song produced by Zee Music Company.
