Odisha BSE prez refutes Matric question viral allegation

Cuttack: Board of Secondary Education (BSE) President Jahan Ara Begum today rubbished the allegation of English subject question paper of the ongoing Matric examinations getting viral on social media.

“Photo of the question paper displayed on news channels doesn’t match with the original one. We can’t term it as ‘viral’. It is just a rumour,” she said.

If indiscipline or irregularities at any examination centre comes to fore, action will be taken against the concerned authorities. District administrations have been directed to impose prohibitory orders under Section 144 of CrPC, if required, she added.

Earlier in the day, there were reports of English subject question paper being circulated on social media 15 minutes after commencement of the exam today.
