Odisha: BSE rubbishes Matric question paper leak claim

Cuttack: Putting rumours to rest, the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) clarified that Matric question paper was not leaked today. Speaking to media persons, the board’s President Ramashish Hazra said the Odia question paper being circulated on social media does not match with the original question set.

Ramashish further said after the exam was over, the board scrutinized question paper getting viral on social media and found that it was fake. With an intention to malign the board’s image someone might have prepared a question paper and made it viral, he added.

Worth mentioning, the board conducted an examination of Odia paper today during which 44 students were caught for malpractices.

Earlier in the day, School and Mass Education Minister Samir Dash said he came to know from media reports about a set of Matric Odia question paper getting viral on social media. Stringent action will be taken against persons responsible for the question leak if it is found to be true, he added.
