The Twin City Commissionerate Police this evening arrested Niranjan Rana, a builder on charges of cheating Rs 10 crore from gullible customers by promising to provide them with flats in the Odisha capital.

Sahid Nagar police late this evening arrested Niranjan Rana, managing director of Maa Tarini Eastcon Builders on charges of cheating.

Rana has allegedly cheated over Rs 10 crore from people by promising them to provide them with flats, police said.

The arrested builder is also a producer of Odia films. One of the films produced by him is 'Gote Sua Gote Saari'.
