Sources said that Pandian expressed displeasure over some lapses in healthcare services during inspection following which CDMO in-charge Pankaj Patel was placed under suspension and the collector was issued a showcause notice for improper implementation of Mo Sarkar programme at the DHH.

Later, the team headed for Rourkela Government Hospital (RGH) for review of the programme.

Notably, Pandian along with bureaucrats were found in action mode following launch of Mo Sarkar initiative on Gandhi Jayanti to make the governance people-centric.
