Odisha Cabinet approves six-laning of road project in Cuttack

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Cabinet headed by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today approved the tender for six-laning of a road connecting Link Road and Khannagar in Cuttack to decongest traffic.

The 2.1-km road project would be implemented at an expenditure of Rs 121.65 crore, said Chief Secretary PK Jena.

A target has been set to complete the project within a period of 24 months, he added.

“The six-lane carriageway road from Khannagar to Link Road in Cuttack would be implemented under State Sector-Road Development programme. Once completed, the project will provide better connectivity and reduce traffic congestion,” said the Chief Secretary.
