Odisha Cabinet approves tender for one more bridge over Mahanadi River

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Cabinet approved a tender for the construction of a high-level bridge over the Mahanadi River on Brahmankanda-Sahukheta Road under Salipur Block in Cuttack district.

The bridge will connect Cuttack-Paradeep Road (State Highway-12) with Cuttack-Chandbali Road (State Highway-9) benefitting people residing on both sides of the Mahanadi River by providing direct connectivity and economic opportunity.

The tender has been approved by the Cabinet in favour of ITL-CCPL (JV) amounting to Rs 128.71 Crore for the execution of the work. The project is targeted for completion within a period of 36 months.
