Bhubaneswar: Odisha Government today approved proposals for the construction of Yadav Bhawan in Bhubaneswar and SCB Medical Public School in Cuttack.

The Cabinet approved to provide a government land measuring area 500 dec. at Chandrasekharpur Mouza for lease in favour of Utkal Yadav Mahasabha for the construction of Yadav Bhawan.

The Cabinet also approved a proposal of Revenue and Disaster Management Department for sanction of lease of Ac 2.50 dec of government land at Chauliaganja Mouza under Cuttack Sadar Tehsil of Cuttack district in favour of DAV SCB Medical Public School, Cuttack, for construction of new school building and waiver of all government dues including interest thereon for the entire period of occupation in respect of Ac.1.80 dec of government land at Mangalabag Mouza in Cuttack on which the old SCB Medical Public School stood.

Total 14 proposals from seven departments were approved at the state cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at Lok Seva Bhawan in Bhubaneswar today.

This was the last Cabinet meeting of the government ahead of implementation of model code of conduct for the 2024 elections.
