Bhubaneswar: Odisha-cadre IPS officer Satyajit Naik was appointed as SP of the National Investigation Agency (NIA).

The 2008-batch IPS officer will be on the Central deputation as the SP of the NIA after a notification in this regard to be released by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Currently, Naik is serving as the SP of Special Task Force in Odisha Crime Branch.
