Odisha Chief Secretary PK Jena gets 6-month extension of service

Bhubaneswar: The service period of Odisha Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena has been extended by six months.

The General Administration and Public Grievance department issued a notification in this regard today.

The service period of Odisha Chief Secretary PK Jena has been extended for a period of six months from January 1, 2024 to June 30, 2024, said the notification.

Jena, a 1989-batch IAS officer, had been appointed as the Chief Secretary of Odisha on February 26 this year.

Jena was scheduled to retire from service on December 31, sources said.
