Bhubaneswar: Co-Operation, Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare Minister Surjya Narayana Patro’s son Biplab Patro again landed in trouble after the CBI summoned him for questioning in connection with Artha Tatwa chit fund scam.

Biplab was served notice by the investigating agency asking him to appear before it for his role in sale of flats assigned to the AT Group.

The CBI also sealed 50 flats constructed in Nakhara area on outskirts of Cuttack.

Sources in CBI said that the AT Group had taken the sale and purchase charge of the flats constructed by a real estate firm at Nakhara. Biplab was the middleman in selling and purchasing of the flats.
