Odisha chit fund scam; Court reserves verdict on Hitesh Bagarti’s bail

Khurda district and sessions judge court here today reserved its verdict on the bail plea of former BJP MLA Hitesh Bagarti, one of the directors of Nabadiganta Capital Services who was arrested by the CBI for his alleged involvement in the Odisha chit fund scam, till December 24.
After the completion of the hearing, the court reserved the verdict on Bagarti’s bail plea.
Bagarti was arrested along with Ramchandra Hansdah BJD (MP, Lok Sabha) and Subarna Nayak (ex-MLA, BJD) by CBI on November 4 in Naba Diganta Group case in Odisha chit fund cases on allegations of criminal conspiracy and diversion of funds.
