The CBI today grilled Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) secretary Asirbad Behera in connection with the chit fund scam.

Behera again appeared before the CBI here for interrogation in connection with the chit fund scam.

The Central investigating agency is probing into investment of depositors’ money by chit fund companies in Odisha Premier League (OPL), Artha Tatwa (AT) Group being the main sponsor of OPL.

“I was questioned on the Rs One crore paid by AT Group to OCA,” said Behera today.

The AT Group had paid Rs One crore to OCA for the purpose. The CBI had raided offices of OCA and Behera on August 17 in 2014 in this connection.

The agency had stumbled upon several important documents during the raid. Later in November in the same year Behera was interrogated by the CBI in two phases, his son Sanjay Behera too was interrogated by the agency.
