Cuttack: Eminent cine producer Keshab Rout today passed away at his residence at Shankarpur in Cuttack.

He died of cardiac arrest. He was 68.

Rout is best known for producing family genre movies in Ollywood. Some of his his Odia films including 'Santan', ‘Bhisma Pratigyan’, ‘Suna Chadhei’ and 'Suna Harini' had fetched him applause from the viewers.

He had also produced several television serials. He was also the executive committee member of Utkal Cine Chamber of Commerce (UCCC).
