Odisha Class 10 Summative Assessment-I to be held on Jan 5

Bhubaneswar: The Summative Assessment-I of Class 10 students will be held on January 5, 2022, informed Odisha School & Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash here today.

“The Matric Summative Assessment will be conducted on January 5 next year. This examination needs to be conducted before the annual Class 10 examination as it might help in evaluation process if the Board Exam could not be held next year,” Dash told reporters.

Earlier, the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) had postponed Matric Summative Assessment-I to January 5, 2022. The examination was scheduled to begin on December 27, 2021.

As per the schedule, the examination will continue till January 8, 2022.

Around 5.70 lakh students will appear in the examination. While online form fill-up process has been completed, a database is being prepared for the assessment, BSE Vice-President Nihar Ranjan Mohanty had informed earlier.
