Odisha Class 9, 10 Summative Assessment-I; Check Exam guidelines here

Bhubaneswar: Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Odisha released guidelines for First Summative Assessment of Class 9 and Class 10 scheduled in November and December respectively this year.

As per the schedule, Class 9 Summative Assessment-I will be held in two sitting at their respective schools from November 26 to 29. The first sitting of examination will commence from 9.00 am to 10.00 am and second sitting from 11.00 am to 12.00 noon. Each subject will carry 40 marks (1-mark all objectives) and the students need to fill the OMR sheet for the answer.

As per the guidelines, the students’ reporting time is 8.00 am. The question papers for the first sitting test will be distributed among the students at 8.50 am and examination will start at 9.00 am. The OMR sheets will be collected from students at 10.00 am and sealed at 10.20 am. The OMR sheets of second sitting examination will be sealing at 12.20 pm and papers will be sent to the neutral schools at 1.30 pm. The evaluation of Class 9 Summative Assessment-I will commence from November 29 and be completed on December 6. Following evaluation, the answer sheets will be dispatched to the respective schools. The marks awarded to students will be uploaded on the website of BSE Odisha by December 20.

Similarly, the Summative Assessment-I of Class 10 students is scheduled be held from December 27 to 30 in Class 9 Summative Assessment-I pattern. The students will appear in the examination in two sittings. Each paper will carry 40 marks (all objectives carrying 1 mark each) and answers will be filled in OMR sheet.

As per the schedule by BSE Odisha, the Class 10 Summative Assessment-I first sitting will commence at 10.00 am to 11.00 am. The next sitting will start from 12.00 noon till 1.00 pm. For Mathematics paper, the examination timing will be extended by another 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, online form fill-up process for Class 10 Summative Assessment-I for the session 2021-22 has begun from November 18 till November 25. The instructions for online filling up of application forms for the examination is available on BSE Odisha website. After filling up the form, the school authorities will submit the copy of Descriptive Roll Sheet at the BSE office by November 26.
