Odisha classifies its departments for COVID-19 management

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has classified its departments into two categories for COVID-19 management in the state.

As per an official order, all departments have been classified into ‘Critical’ and ‘Partially Critical’ categories. While Group-A officers of both categories of departments will attend office, up to 50 percent of Groups B, C and D employees of ‘Critical’ category departments will attend office on roster basis.

Similarly, up to 33 percent of Groups B, C and D employees of ‘Partially Critical’ category departments will attend office on roster basis. The administrative departments will decide about the scale of operation in field offices of both categories, the order said.

All government employees, who are not attending office, will work from home. This order will be effective from April 20 to May 3, it added.
