Bhubaneswar:  After reviewing situation post the very severe cyclonic storm Yaas, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today announced seven-day relief for all families of 128 villages marooned by flash flood in the aftermath of the cyclone.

During the review meeting, the CM said efforts are afoot to restore major roads for communication in next 24 hours. Besides, 80 per cent of restoration of electricity supply will be ensured in affected districts in next 24 hours .

Patnaik also congratulated all Panchayat  Representatives, district administrations, community organisations, police for their excellent work in evacuation. He thanked doctors and health workers for their continuous healthcare services in the affected districts during the cyclone.
