Odisha CM asks newly appointed civil servants to focus on 5Ts

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today advised the newly appointed civil services officials to focus on 5Ts adding Time and Transformation to 3Ts in administration for development of people in Odisha.

Addressing the newly appointed officials at a programme held at Jayadev Bhawan in Bhubaneswar, Patnaik said, “the state government always stresses 3Ts — Technology, Transparency and Teamwork for people. Now, the government has added Time to the formula, which cannot be overlooked.”

The government is now focusing on 5Ts — Technology, Transparency, Teamwork, Transformation and Time for work towards development.

“The administrators can effectively discharge their duties along with meeting people’s expectation if they follow the 5Ts in work,” Patnaik said.

During the programme, he handed over the appointment letters to the successful candidates in 2017 Odisha Civil Services Examinations conducted by the Odisha Public Services Commission (OPSC).

He also advised them to address the issues with patience and sensitivity.

Notably, a total of 102 candidates have cracked the state civil services exam 2017, out of which 42 are women and 4 are in divyang category.
