The much awaited meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Odisha Chief Minister is now underway.

Chief Minister Patnaik has been accompanied by all the 24 BJD MPs.

Patnaik said he would be raising the special category state status, revision of royalties for minerals and several other issues pertaining to the development of the state.

On being asked about BJD joining the NDA, Patnaik said the matter has not been discussed  within the party as yet.
