Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today congratulated Pramod Bhagat on becoming the first badminton player from India to win a gold medal at Tokyo Paralympics 2020.
Patnaik took to Twitter to extend his best wishes to the 33-year-old homegrown badminton player and said, "your achievement has brought laurels to the entire nation. Wish you a bright future."

Creating history, Bhagat defeated Great Britain’s Daniel Bathell 2-0 in the Men’s Singles SL3 final to win gold medal at the Paralympic Games.
