Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today directed the Cuttack Collector to provide free treatment to Padma Shri awardee D Prakash Rao, who has been admitted to the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.

Patnaik also directed the official to supervise his treatment. The CM expressed concern over health condition of Rao.

D Prakash Rao, a tea seller from Cuttack, who had received the prestigious Padma Shri award for his contributions in the field of social work, was yesterday admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of the hospital after he complained of chest pain while attending a programme in Angul.
