Odisha CM distributes 8000 bicycles among community partners

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today distributed 8000 bicycles among community partners working in urban areas of the state. A programme in this regard was held at the convention hall of Lok Seva Bhawan here.

Swachh workers & partners, Aahaar workers, Jal Saathis and supervisors are among those who received the bicycles.

The event was organised in collaboration with the Housing & Urban Development Department and Mission Shakti Department.

Speaking on the occasion, the CM said, “Mission Shakti members have taken up many responsibilities in community participation programmes in various cities. Everyone is happy with their work. The state government is providing them bicycles so that they can carry out their responsibilities easily.”
