Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Deputy Chief Ministers KV Singh Deo and Pravati Parida have met President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other Union Ministers during their visit to New Delhi.

The Chief Minister and the two Deputy Chief Ministers today called on the Prime Minister and held discussions on various issues regarding development of Odisha.

The CM and the Deputy CMs also met Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram and Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal among others in the national capital.

The CM and Deputy CMs sought the help and cooperation of the Union Ministers for the rapid development of Odisha in various sectors.

The Union Ministers have assured the CM and Deputy CMs of extending all help to Odisha, said a statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) today.

The Odisha CM and the Deputy CMs had called on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhawan yesterday.

They have also met Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla in New Delhi.
