Odisha CM greets people on New Year; wishes for peace & well-being

Bhubaneswar: Extending greetings on the occasion of New Year, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today prayed for peace and prosperity of the people of the state.

Patnaik took to Twitter and said, "Wish all of you a very Happy New Year and wish everyone’s lives are filled with hope, peace and prosperity in the new year of 2021."

"I pray before Mahaprabhu for the well-being of people. Bande Utkal Janani," said the CM sharing a video on his twitter handle.

President Ram Nath Kovind also greeted the people of the nation and called upon them to work together for creating an inclusive society filled with the spirit of love and compassion that promotes peace and goodwill.

New Year provides an opportunity to make a fresh beginning and resolve for individual and collective development. Challenges arising out of COVID-19 situation strengthen our determination to move forward unitedly.
