Odisha CM inaugurates ‘Biju Minar’

Paradip, Mar 5:
Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today inaugurated a memorial tower-‘Biju Minar’ in memory of his father and former Chief Minister Biju Patnaik at the sea beach here.

The 50ft high tower has been jointly constructed by Paradip Municipality and Biju Memorial Trust at the Biju Maidan on the sea beach at an approximate cost of Rs 30 lakh, reports said.
The Chief Minister also attended Biju Smruti Mahotsav-a function held to commemorate the close of the year-long Biju centenary celebrations, reports added.
