Odisha CM inaugurates projects worth Rs 2000 crores in Ganjam

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today inaugurated various projects worth Rs 2000 crores in Chhatrapur, Hinjili, and Kabisuryanagar areas of Ganjam district.

Projects worth Rs 1000 crores were inaugurated in Chhatrapur, Rs 590 crores in Hinjili, and more than Rs 316 crores in Kabisuryanagar.

The Chief Minister has distributed nearly 20,000 land pattas to the people in Ganjam district. In Chhatrapur, 3,500 pattas were distributed, 4,500 in Hinjili, and more than 11,000 pattas were given in Kabisuryanagar.

Addressing the gathering, the CM sought the cooperation of people towards making Ganjam the number one district of the country.

The Chief Minister said that the Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana and the transformation of five schools are the state government’s two milestone achievements.

Through the Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana, 50,000 people in Ganjam district are receiving medical facilities, and for this, the state government has spent more than Rs 190 crores, said the Chief Minister.

He pledged to convert all schools in the district to high schools by December.
